AND THAT IS BECAUSE IT'S A DMD MATTER, UH, THAT THIS ITEM NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED BY THEIR BOARD.

THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED AT 31 0 1 OHIO STREET THAT WAS PURCHASED BY THE DICKINSON LITTLE LEAGUE FROM LFO CHURCH USING THE DMD GRANT LOAN, WHATEVER YOU WOULD LIKE TO CALL IT.
IT IS NOT EDC PROPERTY AND THERE WAS NO PROPERTY SWAP INVOLVED.
THE EDC OWNED PROPERTY AT 32 0 2 OHIO STREET WAS RECENTLY APPROVED BY THE STATE TEXAS DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AS ONE OF OUR DMS DEBRIS MANAGEMENT SITES FOR NATURAL DISASTERS.

UH, THIS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED WITH A PUMPING SYSTEM THAT PUMPS THE BIO, UH, PUMPS THE WATER LEVEL BACK INTO THE BIO.
UM, BUT UNFORTUNATELY, UH, THE PUMPING SYSTEM IS, UH, LESS THAN SUCCESSFUL AND, UH, HAS POOR RELIABILITY.
WHEN MARINERS MOORING FLOODS, IT'S IMPASSABLE.
ALL THE RESIDENTS PARK IN MY YARD AND FRONT OF MY HOUSE AND I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WITH THAT.

SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, THE CITY DECIDED THAT THE BEST SOLUTION TO THIS DRAINAGE ISSUE WOULD BE TO FILL UP THE DRAINAGE DITCHES WITH DIRT AND COMPLETELY COVER THE DRAINAGE CULVERTS, EXCUSE ME, LET ME REPEAT THAT.
THE CITY DETERMINED THAT THE BEST SOLUTION TO THIS DRAINAGE ISSUE WOULD BE TO FILL THE DRAINAGE DITCH WITH DIRT AND COMPLETELY COVER THE DRAINAGE CULVERTS.
I'M NO ENGINEER, BUT I STOOD IN MY YARD AND WATCHED THEM DO THIS.
AND I COULD ONLY STAND THERE AND SCRATCH MY BALD HEAD AND TRY TO FIGURE THE REASONING.
