6.C A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DICKINSON, TEXAS, TO SELECT THE PROPOSAL SUBMITTED BY UTILITY, INC., IN RESPONSE TO RFP#2401 FOR BODY/IN-CAR/INTERVIEW CAMERA SYSTEMS, AS THE BEST PROPOSAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO SECURE AN AGREEMENT FOR SUCH SERVICES.
6.D Consideration and possible action to accept the donation of a tract of land located in the Robert Hall Survey, Abstract 78, Galveston County, Texas, being a 4.757 acre tract out of Lots 27 and 28 of Hall’s Addition to Nicholstone, a subdivision of record in Volume 215, Page 414, of the Galveston County Deed Records.
7.A Conduct a public hearing concerning a request for a Specific Use Permit for a Church in a Neighborhood Commercial "NC" zoning district for the approx. ± 0.33-acres, located at 5818 E FM 517, legally described as ABST 36 W G BANKS RES A BLK 1 RPLT FKA LOTS 5-6-7 & 8 BLK 2 TROPICAL GARDENS.
7.B ORDINANCE XXX-2024 - Consideration and possible action to approve an ordinance on a request Specific Use Permit for a Church in a Neighborhood Commercial "NC" zoning district for the approx. ± 0.33-acres, located at 5818 E FM 517, legally described as ABST 36 W G BANKS RES A BLK 1 RPLT FKA LOTS 5-6-7 & 8 BLK 2 TROPICAL GARDENS.
7.D Conduct a public hearing concerning prescribing that the notice to be given of the time and place of the public hearing to be held for the future proposed adoption of the Unified Development Code (UDC) and associated City-wide rezoning, shall be by publication of said notice in a newspaper as provided by Texas Local Government Code Section 211.006 (a).
7.E RESOLUTION XXX-2024 - Consideration and possible action concerning prescribing that the notice to be given of the time and place of the public hearing to be held for the future proposed adoption of the Unified Development Code (UDC) and associated City-wide rezoning, shall be by publication of said notice in a newspaper as provided by Texas Local Government Code Section 211.006 (a).
8.A Consider and possible action to approve an ordinance of the City of Dickinson, Texas, to amend Chapter 4, animals, of the City of Dickinson code of ordinances, by amending Section 4-3, entitled “DEFINITIONS”; repealing SECTION 4-14, entitled “LICENSE AND REGISTRATION FEES”; retitling Division 2 of Article II; amending SECTIONS 4-41, entitled “REQUIRED” and 4-42, entitled “EXCEPTIONS”; repealing SECTIONS 4-43, entitled “PROOF OF VACCINATION,” 4-44, entitled “VALID PERIOD,” 4-45, entitled “ANIMALS BROUGHT INTO CITY,” and 4-46, entitled “IDENTIFICATION TAGS”; and amending SECTION 4-67, entitled “VICIOUS ANIMAL REGISTRATION REQUIRED”; providing a repealer clause, a penalty clause, and an effective date.
9.A Discussion and possible action to appoint members to the Zoning Board of Adjustments (BOA), Building Standards Commission (BSC), and Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) Board of Directors.
